He is survived by: his children, Audrey Wilson of Pell City, AL, Beth Nelms (Josh) of Murfreesboro, TN, Gina Slay of Columbia, TN and Chris Slay (Jordan) of Virginia Beach, VA; his brother Adam Slay (Elaine) of Roanoke; his stepbrother Tom Ziglar, Jr. (Glenda) of Roanoke; and his friend Leigh Slay of Birmingham, AL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
