He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Preston and Edna Preston; his brother-in-law Robert Shears; and his parents-in-law, E. L. and Burnette Shears.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Preston; his children, Amanda Fox and Jimmy Fox; his sister Ann; his brother-in-law Fred Acker; and his nieces and nephews, Pam Gilmore (David), Jan Kedzie, Robert Shears II (Tracy), Jarred Acker (Jackie) and Patrick Acker (Heather). He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
In honor of Terry, his wishes were to selflessly donate his body to science.
