He was predeceased by: his daughter Vanessa Hardy Langston; his parents, Robert Hardy and Julia Couch Hardy; and his brother Robert Hardy (Bobby). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances; and his children, Frank Hardy (Linda), Darren Hardy (Mona), Duane Hardy (Teresa), Lisa Browning (David) and Emily Smith. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
