He was predeceased by: his parents, Oris Hess Beamer and Manley H. Hess; his siblings, Manley Eugene Hess and Mary Ann Haynie; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Doyce Nolen and Jerry Haynie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hess; his children, Vickie Kilgore (Jeff) and Brian Hess (Toni); his grandchildren, Kyle Kilgore (Amber), Brett Kilgore Christian (Kristin), Cali and Charlee Hess; his great grandchildren, Lathan and Mary Elsie Kilgore; and his siblings, Ada Nolen, Doris Jo Prickett (Joel) and JD Hess (Debbie).
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made in honor of Mr. Hess to The First Baptist Church of Saks, 4723 Saks Rd, Anniston, AL 36206.
