It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Heifner of Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Evan Hiett and Thelma Mae Hiett; her brothers, Curtis and Jerry Hiett; and her aunt Helen "Cricket" Carr.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Heifner-Mallows (Philip) and Kenneth E. Heifner, Jr. (Elaine); her grandchildren, Autumn Browning (Matt) and Avie Mallows; her great grandchildren, William Browning and Taylor Browning; her sister Rhonda Hiett McVey; and her pet Sugarfoot. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
