He was predeceased by: his parents, Euel Judson Hammett and Flonnie Faye Hammett; and his siblings, Wayne Hammett, Mark Hammett, Oland Hammett, Shirley Herron and Earlene Mayfield.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia "Elizabeth" Hall; his children, Reva Clendenning (Jeff), Phyllis Allen (Mark), Donna Gray (Rodney) and Billy Hammett Jr. (Jackie); his grandchildren, Justin Allen (Amy), Stephanie Arnold (Trey), Phylicia Hollingsworth (Ben), Blake Gray (Whitney), Wesley Hammett (Lexi), Dawson Clendenning and Landon Clendenning; and his nephew Neal Hammett. He is also survived by his loving family and friends.
