She is survived by: her children, Roi Newsome (Patty) of Anniston, AL, Anthony David Santos of Sacremento, California and Sonya Matthews Lewis (Larry) of Anniston, AL; her grandchildren, Joshua Newsome, Samuel Newsome, Jonathan Newsome, Sara Beth Swarey, Judith Schmidt, Jesiah Newsome and Brittany Santos; her nephews, Johnny Whitten, Ron Hanson and Charles Whitten; her daughter Hershell David Whitten (Lizzie Mae Brown Whitten); and her caregivers, Joy Buchanan and Krista Sims.
