He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Erwin Lewis, Sr. and Dorothea Schaefer Lewis; his former wife Mary John Lewis (Seymore); and his sister Dorothea Lewis Davies. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lewis; his children, Dr. Karen Lewis Connell (Russ) and Dr. David S. Lewis (Wendy); his stepsons, Jeff Johnston (Jessica), Jason Johnston and Jonathan Johnston (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Edwin Connell, Estella Connell and Heather Howell; and his nephew Wade Davies.
