He was predeceased by: his wife Nannette; and his grandson David Oliver. He is survived by: his children, Judith Nan Lewis, Alice Summerlin (Bob) and Alston Lewis III (Gayla); and his grandchildren, Christopher Matthew Oliver, Dana Alford (Bruce), Amanda Kughn (Jonathan), Greg Lewis (Christal) and Grant Summerlin (Jennifer). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.
