He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie James (Paufler) and Alfred James; and his sister Joanne Diehl. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stein Ambs; his children, Brian (Melissa) and Elizabeth Webeler (Andrew); his grandchildren, PopPop, Lila Butler, Daisy, Brooke Shepard and Elijah Ambs; and his brother Alfred Richard. He is also survived by numerous friends and coworkers.
