It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Griffin of Anderson, Alabama, who passed away on September 5, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Griffin; her sons, Tony Smith and Finley Hicks; her parents, Steve Garner and Vera Garner; and her sisters, Mary Garner Kirk, Stella Mae Putman and Helen Garner.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shana Burroughs (Matt), Trey Hicks (Mary), Halie Thomas (Casey) of Kayla Hicks, T. J, Tia Montgomery and April Smith; her siblings, William Ronald Garner (Stacy) and Roberta Putman (Hal); and her niece Lorie Knoblit. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
