She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wilburn and Myrtle Jernigan; her stepmother Odralee Jernigan; and her brother-in-law Carroll Draper. She is survived by: her husband Robert Nance; her son Robert Newton (Susie); her grandsons, Tyler Newton (Ashley) and Trey Newton; and her siblings, Sandra Draper, Irene Howard (Gary) and Harold Wayne Jernigan (Diana). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
