He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Reba Smith, Leonard and Ruby Burgess; his parents, Henry Franklin and Marcella "Mott" Smith; his aunts, Katie Smith and Margaret Phillips (Jasper); his cousin Ricky Smith; and his niece Susan Bass.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Bullard (Charles), Tammy Smith Dewberry and Scotty Smith (Cathy); and his uncle Harold Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
