It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Edward McConnell of Anderson, Alabama, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter McConnell and Lerlene McConnell; his former wife Brenda Webb McConnell; and his siblings, Jimmy McConnell, Dwight McConnell and Glenda Kennemer.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Jonathan Hendricks, Ryan Cole, Jaret Britt, Ryan Britt and Gabe Tribble; his wife Barbara Williams McConnell; his children, Kim McConnell Hammond (Mark), Amy McConnell Gargis (Jeff), Stacy McConnell Tribble (Chad), Jill McConnell Britt (Jimmy) and Danny Porter; his grandchildren, Katelyn Hendricks (Jonathan), Karoline Hammond (Ryan Cole), Trey Gargis (Lauren), Gracie Tribble, Amber Porter and Hunter Porter; his great grandchild Helen Hendricks; and his siblings-in-law, Oneta McConnell, Ted Kennemer, Don Williams (Sharon) and Ron Williams (Martha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
