He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Middlebrooks and Lucy Middlebrooks. He is survived by: his wife Dean Middlebrooks; his sons, Steve Middlebrooks (Jessica) and Eddie Middlebrooks; his stepsons, Dewayne Sims (Mona) and Dale Sims (Deborah); his grandchildren, Molly Cagles (Patrick), Katie Martins (John), Hannah Sims and Jesse Sims; his great grandchildren, Noah, Kensington Martin and Bankston Cagles; and his brother-in-law Charles Stewart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
