She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Cates and Vonda Cates; her husbands, G. W. Gullet and Larry Nunley; and her siblings, Vivalee Davis, Magdlen Bullard, Thomas Cates and Fannie Hammond.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Dillon; her stepchildren, Larry Nunley (Melissa) and Sophia James; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Cates, Betty White and Danny Nunley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
