He was predeceased by: his parents, Elie Harrell and Vera Harrell; and his siblings, Genell Hardage, Wanda Faye Jeffers, John Hinton Harrell and Robert Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Harrell of Andalusia, AL; his daughters, Donna Day of Baker, FL, Deb Morris of Andalusia, AL and Dawn Carnley (Nickey) of Opp, AL; his grandchildren, Joshua Newton, Charlie Day (Brittany), Zackery Carnley and Shawn Carnley; his great grandchildren, Alex Newton, Brayden Newton, Wyatt Newton, Mason Newton and Hazie Jo Day; his sisters, Fran McGee (Fred) of Auburn, AL and Charlotte Morgan (Bobby) of Babbie, AL; and his sister-in-law Tonia Harrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
