As Shirley Jay departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley Jay may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley Jay leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Yant (Jim), Andy Armstrong (Beverly) and Steve Armstrong; her sisters, Katy Cheshire and Doris Bowen; and her grandchildren, Audra Dean, Andrew Armstrong (Colleen), Robby Yant (Mary) and Alli Ward (Alex). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Covington County Sav-A-Life.
