With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Jean Bradley Jones (Andalusia, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. A. Bradley and Catherine Bradley; and her husband J. Fletcher Jones. She is survived by: her children, Lydia Karen Jones, Susan Jones Short (Lex) and John Fletcher Jones, Jr. (Amy); her grandchildren, Sara Catherine Patrick (Wilson), John Fletcher Jones, III (Lori), Charles Alex Short, Jr. (Katy) and Ada Elizabeth Short; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Catherine Patrick, Ella Claire Jones, Louisa Ruth Patrick, Charles Tanner Short, Charlotte Anne, Patrick, John Fletcher Jones, IV and Cooper Reynold Short.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (700 E 3 Notch St, Andalusia, AL 36420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
