He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy G. Mizell. He is survived by: his daughter Trina M. Hawkins; his grandchildren, Nonaleen Hawkins, Chantha Hawkins and Nathaniel Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Beyoncé McNabb, Chayce Hawkins, Samayiah Florence and Sonora Carr-Hawkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews.
