He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheriff Pollard "Pap" Revenel and Edra May Worley Gantt; and his brother Joe Gantt. He is survived by: his children, Dallas Gantt (Anna) of Tuscaloosa, Isabella, William, Hannah Gantt Merrell (Walt) of Andalusia, Cape and Banks; and his siblings, Caton Gantt of North Carolina, Mary Ann Carter Gantt, Kyle Gantt and Lawrence Phipps.
