She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Fuqua; her stepson Danny Fuqua; her brother Ronnie Thompkins; and her parents, Johnnie Thompkins and Ora Thompkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Cate (Daniel) of Andalusia, AL and Marlee Bass (Bryan) of Andalusia, AL; her stepdaughters, Janet Cooper (Tim) of Andalusia, AL and Jackie Fuqua of Andalusia, AL; her grandchildren, Kyleigh Curry, Piper Cate, Beckham Bass and Eliza Bass; and her siblings, Sheila Williams (Robert) of Andalusia, AL, Sandra James of Northport, AL and Wesley Thompkins (Dianne) of Andalusia, AL.. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home (1516 M. L. K. Jr Expy, Andalusia, AL 36420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
