She was predeceased by : her parents, Owen Stanley and Pearl Stanley; her husbands, Gordon Tomberlin and Lamar Waters; and her son Greg Tomberlin.

She is survived by : her children, Bub Tomberlin (Charlene), Bruce Tomberlin (Gail), Michael Tomberlin (Alison), Donna Lawrence (Chris), Sonya Turvin (John) and Shana Ingram. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (508 AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
