He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa McArthur; his parents, William E. "Bill" McArthur, Sr. and Imogene Davis; and his stepfather Kenneth Davis. He is survived by: his children, Mac McArthur (Karla) and Julie Sizemore (Erik); his granddaughter Savannah Sizemore; and his siblings, Jim McArthur (Pudden), Don Davis and Debra Butts (David). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Altoona in Ed's memory.
