It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Elizabeth (Ashley) Blakely of Altoona, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ashley and Zena Clark Ashley; her husband Willard Blakely; her son-in-law Rodney Scott; and her siblings, Bryon, William, Richard, Della Ruth, Catherine, Ernestine, Mae and Ruby.
She is survived by: her children, Don Blakely, Carol Scott, Terry, Tamara, Kathy, Bobby and Tim; her grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, Matt, Jessica, Lucian, Grayson, Misty, Trent, Bentley, Keith, Melissa, Bristol, Blake, Andralea, Emmalynn, Liliana, Vailorie and Chase; her sister Sue Green; her nieces, Kay Payne, Elaine Martin and Sarah Hutchins; and her sister-in-law Jamie Ashley. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
