It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Simmons (Altoona, Alabama), who passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Simmons, Sr.; her daughter Patricia Simmons; and her daughter-in-law Kay Simmons. She is survived by: her sons, George Simmons, Jr. of Altoona, Phillip Simmons of Attalla and Marlon Smith of Boaz. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to the Westside Baptist Church.
