He is survived by: his parents, Jack Payne and Margaret Payne; his brother Jeffery Payne; his spouse Joyce Wilbert Payne; his children, Brandy Payne, Michael Payne, Jerry Smith (Tina), Tracy Smith and Jason Smith (Tera); his grandchildren, Danielle Nix (Wesley), Chelsey Peppers, Zack Pantoja, Sierra Payne, Nathan Otto, Jennifer Owen (Trey), Madison Hutchens, Anna Claire Hutchens and Noah Smith; his great grandchildren, Jace Nix, Brinley Samuels, Briana Peppers and Henley-Kate Owen; and his siblings, Jackie Payne (Sandra) and Betty Jo Power (Alton).
