He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vinson and Alice Vinson; his grandson Logan Haney; and his siblings, Ricky Vinson and Shirley Vinson Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Vinson; his children, Angel Tanner (Donny), Greg Haney, Lee Haney (Ginger) and Dewayne Haney (Diane); his daughter-in-law Tosha Smith; and his siblings, Dottie Robinson (Bill), Gail Lucchesi (Charlie) and Larry Vinson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
