We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 74, Betty Jo Thrasher of Altoona, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James O. Johnson and Pauline Hall Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Larry Keener, Sam Stafford and Frank Thompson; and her nephew John Wesley Keener.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Thrasher; her daughter Jennie Guthery (Arlo); her grandsons, Grant Guthery and Aidan Guthery; her siblings, Esther Thrasher (Jimmy) and George Johnson (Smiley); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Keener, Linda Stafford and Diane Thompson.

Flowers will be accepted or donations to your favorite charity.
