She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Britten Phillips; her parents, Richard H. Cleary and Hattie Simmons Cleary; her grandson Matthew Britten Phillips; her daughter-in-law Freida Cochran Phillips; and her brothers, Herbert, Donald and Bruce Cleary.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Phillips (Ellen), David Phillips (Sarah), Sharon Brannon (Jim) and Laurel Cantrell (Dennis); and her brother Ray Cleary (Brenda). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
