Smith; her daughter Barbara Van Wagner; her parents, Rufus David and Cynthia Betty Simpson (Henderson); her siblings, Carrie Lee Young, Bertha Bee Gates, Nolen Simpson, Myrtice Beck, Jerry Simpson, Willis Simpson Virdie Alexander and Lottie Lusk Waldrop; her great grandchild William Gage Smith; and her son-in-law James Van Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Buford Smith (Elaine), Hubert Smith and Jackie Smith (Connie); her grandchildren, Roger Van Wagner (Susan), Debra Van Wagner Millwood, Teresa Entriken (Allen), J. D. Van Wagner (Wendy), Angela Tyler (Teddy), Wendy Williams, Ronald Smith (Jennifer), Rowdy Smith (Lindsey), Brandon Howard (Heather), Jamie Wesson (Chuck), Eric Miller (Jessica), Angie Harmon (Chris) and Jacob Smith; and her sister Mary Bearden. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren.
