She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Brown; and her brothers, Bo Segrest, Olan Segrest, Freddie Segrest Hart, J. P. Carmack, Lonnie Carmack and Marrell Carmack.
She is survived by: her sons, John Hendrick IV (Cindy) and James Hendrick; her siblings, Junior Segrest, Harold Dean Carmack, Nadine Segrest, Annie Pearl Ruddy and Sandra Echols; and her grandchildren, Caleb Hendrick, Matthew Hendrick, Conner Hendrick and Lauren Brannon. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
