She was predeceased by: her parents, WillIsom Groce and Willie Mae Groce; her husband Robert Sparks; her children, Bobby, Elton, Craig, Andrew, James, Brenda and Curtis; her grandchildren, Drigges Jackson and Franklin Twymon; and her great grandchildren, Terrion Isom and Vashawnda Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Diana M. Kelley (Kirk) of Alpine, AL, Nettie R. Whitson (Lonnie) of Talladega, AL, Deborah J. Patton (Lernert) of Alpine, AL, Melba D. Gooden of Alpine, AL, Jacqueline Gooden (Ronald) of Alpine, AL, Steve Gooden and Bobbie Ann Garrett; and her sisters, Fannie Groce of Talladega, AL and Brenda Groce of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
