She is survived by: her husband Elton Gibson; her sons, Brad Gibson (Kara) and Ryan "Rudy" Gibson (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Lilly Gibson, Levi Gibson and Cade Gibson; and her sisters, Sue Sanders and Nancy Garnand.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Aliceville First United Methodist (307 3rd Ave NE, Aliceville, AL 35442).
