With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jane Harmon Tackett of Aliceville, Alabama, born in Roanoke, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Madison Tackett; her brother James Thomas Harmon; and her parents, Lankford Harmon and Una Mae Harmon of Washington. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Tackett, Eschenbach (John) and Sheri Tackett Parker (Jay); her grandchildren, John James "JJ", Molly, Eschenbach and James; her cousin Ila Faye Miller; her sister-in-law Sue Gail Tackett; her niece Susan Tackett Cox; and her nephew Garland Tackett.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, Mid-South Division, 1100 Ireland Way, Suite 300, Birmingham, AL 35205.
