She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Cunningham Horton; her parents, Cordell East Archer and Sue Baker Archer; her sister-in-law Jeanette D. Horton; and her niece Virginia Horton Szabo-Durham (Ginger).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph C. Horton (Kara) and Elizabeth H. Rosemeyer (Matt); her grandchildren, Jackson C. Horton, William A. Horton, Charles J. Rosemeyer (Charlie Joe), Adam M. Rosemeyer and Cambria M. Rosemeyer; her sister Susan A. Haynes (Joseph B. Haynes); and her brothers-in-law, William A. Horton (Jackie) and Charles R. Horton (Marguerite). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martha's memory to Habitat for Humanity in Tuscaloosa, Alabama or to the Aliceville Museum.
