Charles Cabiness Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Cabiness of Aliceville, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Cabiness to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Charles Michael Cabiness; his siblings, Robert Earl Cabiness, Bobby Cabiness, Johnny Cabiness, Joe Cabiness, Leon Cabiness, Betty Jean Cabiness and Doris Cabiness; his granddaughter Brandi Hester; and his parents, Mathis Swint Cabiness and Mary Frances Nicholson Cabiness.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Cabiness; his children, Regina Cabiness, Michelle Cochran and David Cabiness (Teresa); his brother Buddy Cabiness; his grandchildren, Angela Hester, Blake Cabiness, Lacie Cabiness, Donavon Cabiness, Ceirra Cabiness, Cass McLaurin and T. J. Cochran; his great grandchildren, Kristopher Hester, Deveren Wilkins (Britney), Adam Black, Brooklyn Black, Cohen Black and Cain Black; and his great great grandchildren, Kristopher Hester, Jr. and Gianna Hester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dogwood Chapel (200 5th St NE, Aliceville, AL 35442). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Pilgrim Rest Cemetery Fund, c/o Jean McBride, 15689 Hwy 17, Aliceville, AL 35442.
