He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lloyd Blakney and Grace Tate Blakney. He is survived by: his wife Frieda Turnipseed Blakney; his children, Brittney Ann Blakney, Brandi Leigh Blakney and James Frank Blakney (Penny); his siblings, Bobby Joe Blakney (Pat), Tommy Blakney (Jan) and Charlotte Lowery (Dale); and his grandson Jonathon Brett Blakney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
