With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Ersie Nelms of Alexandria, Alabama, born in Locust Fork, Alabama, who passed away on June 9, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Nelms and Lora Nelms; and his brother Carroll Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Pamelia Whitt Nelms; his children, Ferrell Nelms (Karen) of Alexandria, AL, Malaea Nelms Seleski (Dave) of Asheville, NC and Todd Nelms of Florence, AL.; his grandsons, Logan Nelms and Easton Nelms; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine Whitt Aycock of Decatur, AL and Marlene Nelms of Highland Lake, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
