He was predeceased by: his parents, T. E. Asherbranner and Ruth Asherbranner; and his grandson Chris Abernathy. He is survived by: his children, Nakoda Abernathy and Michael Asherbranner (Crystal); his grandchildren, Tyler, Shawn Abernathy, Dylan Abernathy and Wayne Dunham; and his siblings, Wyonnia Shell (Tom), Roger Asherbranner (Mary) and Ed Asherbranner (Kay).
