He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Hammonds; and his grandparents, Leola Hammonds, James Hammonds and Vera Louise Kitchens. He is survived by: his father Norman Hammonds; his sister Robin Hopkins (Ray); his niece RaeAnna Hogue (Jacob); and his nephew Ridge Hopkins.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Gardens (4000 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206).
