He was predeceased by: his wife Patty May "Pat" VanHorne; his granddaughter Stephanie VanHorne; his great grandchild Ash VanHorne; his parents, Eloida Gray and Donald VanHorne; and his sister Donna Lee Peterson.
He is survived by: his son Andrew D. VanHorne (April) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Andrew VanHorne II, Audrey Landrum (Anthony) and Matt Abernathy; and his brothers, David VanHorne and Bruce Adams (Peg). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
