He was predeceased by: his grandmother Minnie Chandler; and his parents, A. Z. Haynes and Jewell Haynes. He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Hamilton (Gerald), Cheryl Haynes (Mike) and Roger Haynes (Donna); his daughters, Gina Ramsey, Mandi Rosier (John) and Tracie Edwards (Mark); and his grandchildren, Brody Mathews, Will Hobbs, Walker Hobbs, Alexandria Hall, Bradford Hall and Anna Grayce Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
