He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kemp; his daughters, Shelley James and Sheila Amanda Kemp; his grandchildren, Kevin A. James, Jr. and Klark G. James; his brother Wayne Kemp; and his nephews, Jerry Smith and Julius Smith.
