It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Smith Hammock of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Abner Smith and Ora Mildred Burkhalter Smith; her sister Ruth Smith Lane; and her nephew George Lane. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Hammock (Lisa) of Marietta, GA; her nephews, Garry Smith (Peggy), Lanny Smith (Becky) and David Lane (Donna); and her niece Joann Smith (Jeff).
