He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brown and Mattie Lou Claybrook Brown; his brother Lowell "Dirtdobber" Brown; his grandson Randall Jordan; and his daughter-in-law Susan Burkhalter.
He is survived by: his friend Grocery; his wife Patricia Brown of New Site; his children, Jenny Brown of Alexander City, Donna Hudson of Alexander City and Dewayne Burkhalter of Jacksons Gap; his grandchildren, Joanna Columbo, Amber Wilson (Anthony), Blake Hudson, Alexis Hudson, Christopher Burkhalter, Alana Klosky (Michael) and Shalyn Hamby (Kyle); and his siblings, Kathra "Bug" Mattox (Hulan "Wormy"), Dewey Brown and Redge Brown (Emma Jean). He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers but memorial contributions may be made to the family at Radney Funeral Home.
