With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Weeks of Alexander City, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Agnes Weeks; his parents, James Cecil Weeks and Lona Bell Weeks Redding; his brother Ronnie Weeks; and his stepfather Jesse Redding.
He is survived by: his children, David Wayne Weeks (Sandy) of Calera, AL, Teresa Weeks of Acworth, GA and Melissa Weeks of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Jesse Weeks (Lauren), Justin Weeks (Margaret), Kelsie Sanders, David Pittman, James Pittman and Lucy Pittman; his great grandchild Rhett Weeks; his brother Jimmy Weeks (Carolyn); and his siblings-in-law, Collins Knowles (Donna) and Marilyn Weeks.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rockford Church of God (73 Nixburg Rd, Rockford, AL 35136).
In lieu of flowers, family request contributions to be made to the Building Fund of the Rockford Church of God, P.O. Box 102, Rockford, AL. 35136.
