It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Alton Hornsby of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Alton Hornsby and Carolyn Rodgers Hornsby; his wife Glenda Guice Hornsby; and his stepson Michael Rolling. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Bailey (Emmett) of Daviston and Donna Jones (Eugene) of Alexander City; his stepson Ricky Rolling of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Brandi Cothren (Cody), Brianna Bailey, Dawson Graham, Allen Graham (Laura), Brittany Dell Aguzzo (Cesare), Lacey Jones, Phillip Rolling and Isaac Rolling (Hailey); and his siblings, Marion Hornsby (Margie) of Cochran, GA, Estelle Smith (Larry) of Macon, GA, Edith Faulk (Gordon) of Jeffersonville, GA and Sarah Nell Harrison of South Carolina. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to Victory Baptist Church, 210 South Road, Alexander City, Alabama 35010.
