He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Greene and Mary Eloise Smith Greene; and his brothers, Bobby and Billy Wayne Greene. He is survived by: his wife Nita K. Greene of Alexander City; his daughters, Dana Greene of Lawrenceville, GA and Darcy Melcher (Chris) of Dayton, OH; his stepchildren, Trey Hall (Tiffany) and Krista Yarbrough (Randy); his grandchildren, Josh Melcher, Caleb Melcher, Cameron Hall, Caleb Yarbrough, Cyndle Hall and Leilani Hall; and his sister Gaynelle Albright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Stone Ridge Baptist Church, 611 Airport Drive, Alexander City, AL, 35010.
