She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Ray Floyd and Shirley Ann McHargue; her stepfather James McHargue; and her sister Candace Simmons. She is survived by: her husband James K. Carpenter; her daughters, Kaci Sims (Chris) of Alexander City, Mindy Bradford of Alexander City and Kember Carpenter of Alexander City; her grandchildren, Abigale Sims, Daley Sims and Jale Bradford; and her siblings, Beverly Easterwood of Kellyton, Dawn Culp of Dadeville, Delisa Burch of Griffin, GA, Lisa Floyd and Gordon McCarty.
